Mommy's New Diaper Bag

This diaper bag is a carved cake, with fondant "fabric" pieces. The bottle is carved from Rice Krispy Treats and covered in fondant, and the cute little pacifier is made from gumpaste. There is "stitching" on each of the stripes, as well as the pockets on the sides. The cake board is covered and quilted to resemble a bright, baby blanket.

Mustang Sally

This sheet cake features a sculpted mustang made out of white chocolate. The letters and the plaque behind the mustang are also white chocolate. The client request the top to be scored as part of the design to make for easier cutting.

Pretty as a Princess

A cute little cake for a little girl's birthday. The tiara is made of royal icing, and is painted with an edible silver sheen. Blue jewels made of isomalt, also edible, finish the design.

The Great Debate Cake

This podium cake is for a debate-lover's 18th birthday! Made of chocolate cake with chocolate filling, and covered in modeling chocolate, it's debatable whether she liked the flavor or the design more. The gavel "1" is made of cereal treats with a solid chocolate handle.

Pretty in Pink

This swiss-dotted beauty has custom handmade silk flower sprays, complete with beaded crystals to compliment the bride's tiara and the cake topper. The top tier was strawberry cake with french vanilla filling; the middle tier was vanilla with pistachio filling; and the bottom tier was chocolate with a chocolate mousse filling.

Blue Splendor

This bride requested her topper placed underneath my 13-inch roman columns, surrounded by handmade floral garlands. The separator columns are also surrounded by handmade garlands and a small matching bouquet tops the cake. Graduating colors of blue fondant made this cake a "wow"! Ropes of fondant were braided and wrapped around each tier for borders.

Aloha! Blue and Gold

For a tropical-themed Cub Scout Blue and Gold banquet, this is a white cake with mango puree buttercream and lime curd filling, iced with a classic egg yolk and sugar syrup buttercream. The bottom tier is draped with a modeling chocolate "grass" skirt, and the top is ringed by chocolate painted palm trees. Tropical flowers made with fondant and hand painted surround the cake and the chocolate "29" topper. Hand-made chocolate fondant coconuts are sprinkled all over the top of the cake, and were a huge hit with the scouts. The coconuts tasted like Tootsie Rolls!

Daisy Display

This gorgeous Springtime bouquet is made of fondant daisies. Lemon cake with strawberry filling and lemon buttercream made for a delicious cupcake display as well the main cutting cake. A tiny matching fondant daisy topped each cupcake, the colors of the brides bouquet. The fondant on the cake was brushed with shimmer powder to make it look like the satin of her dress.
